Week 8: Do You Dare?

Monday - Thursday: August 2-5, 2021

Zoom call 10 AM and 3 PM CST daily

100 participants, min age 60 months

Cost is $75 per registered girl member; $100 for non-members.

You are stranded without the comforts of home. Can you make it through the week? Your family will team up to overcome obstacles, learn navigation and wilderness survival skills, fire and shelter building, first aid, and more! Through exciting daily challenges, you will put your survival skills to the test! End the week with a virtual escape room and see if you can become the ultimate virtual survivor!   

Prefer a virtual camp setting? We’ve got you covered! Girls will enjoy two staff-led live Zoom sessions each morning and afternoon. Some Zoom sessions will include special guests, while others are guided activities based on the week’s theme! Other activities will be pre-recorded for your convenience when your girl is ready.

Each week will feature activities for every grade level related to Girl Scout badges and Journeys. Each camp packet will be filled with daily activities for each Girl Scout level, allowing campers to pick and choose how they wish to participate. Activities will be posted in Edmodo, a virtual platform much like Google Classroom. Each camper will receive a packet of themed content plus additional enrichment activities for those who do not want the fun to stop!

Each week campers will receive a virtual camp care package mailed directly to your door prior to each registered week of camp! We will include supplies to complete themed activities. Virtual campers will need their own school supplies such as markers, glue, scissors, and crayons.

Cancellation Policy
EVENT CANCELLATIONS: If an event does not meet the minimum registration as of the deadline date, GSNI reserves the right to cancel the event. Notice will be made by email. REFUND PROCEDURE: A full refund of the fee (including deposit) is made ONLY if it is necessary for GSNI to cancel an event. A partial refund, cost of the event minus a $5 per person processing fee or 1/2 the event fee for events costing less than $10, will be given if requested in writing prior to the event deadline. When requesting a refund, include the following information in an email to customercare@girlscoutsni.org: name and address of participant, name and date of event, and reason for request. No refunds will be given after the event registration deadline.
